Strictly Ted 2025
Strictly Ted is our brand new charity fundraiser, bringing together an amazing group of volunteer dancers taking on two ballroom routines in front of a live audience and judging panel.
They’ve been training for weeks and fundraising along the way, all to raise money for Team Ted Foundation. Learn more about our dancers, how the night will work, how you can get involved and how to vote for your favourite!
What is Strictly Ted?
You may have noticed Strictly Ted takes inspiration from a certain Saturday night show on BBC One… It’s a charity fundraiser where our incredible dancers learn and perform two dances, competing for your votes and donations to support families affected by childhood cancer.
Over several weeks, they train hard, fundraise even harder, and give their all on the dance floor. The evening is full of excitement, fun and fierce competition, all for an amazing cause.
Your support means the world to these brave dancers and the families Team Ted Foundation helps every day.
How it works...
The winner of Strictly Ted is decided by a combination of judges’ scores and public donations. Our judges score each couple on two dances, the Cha Cha and the Waltz, with each dance counting for 25 per cent of the total score. The other 50 per cent comes from you, the public, through your donations, which count as votes for your favourite couple. Every pound you donate adds to their fundraising total and boosts their chances of winning, whilst supporting our vital cause of allowing families and children suffering with cancer to create precious memories together.
The top two couples at the end will go into a dance-off where we wipe the slate clean and it’s purely down to your donations to decide who wins the glitterball trophy!

How you can get involved
Due to venue capacity, places for Strictly Ted are by invitation only. Each dancer will be able to invite a specific number of guests to join them on the night.
But don’t worry if you haven’t received an invite! You can still be part of all the action by watching our live stream on 12th July 2025. Dinnington Rugby Club will be showing it live on the night, so pop down there for a community atmosphere. Otherwise, tune in from home on our Facebook page or YouTube channel.
Our dancers are relying on your votes to get them into the final, so support an amazing cause whilst being thoroughly entertained!
