On 12th July, nine incredible couples took to the dancefloor for Strictly Ted 2025, our very own take on a certain Saturday night BBC favourite. Months of training, plenty of laughs and a fair few sore feet later, the night raised over £33,000 for Team Ted Foundation!
Nine Couples, One Glitterball
Each couple performed a Cha Cha and a Waltz in front of our judges and a live audience, with the winner decided by a combination of judges’ scores and public donations. The top two couples went head-to-head in a dance-off, with the result coming down entirely to the public vote.
Our nine couples were:

- Ciara and Eddie
- Blake and Caitlin
- Sky and Brad
- Avan and Neil
- Joseph and Fran
- Sal and Dan
Every one of them gave up weeks of evenings and weekends to learn routines from scratch, training in kitchens, gardens and gyms whenever they could fit it in, all for a cause that means a great deal to each of them personally.
A huge congratulations to Ciara and Eddie, our Strictly Ted 2025 champions! They were crowned winners on the night through a brilliant combination of performance and fundraising support, and they thoroughly deserved that glitterball.
Dancing With Ted in Mind
Behind every couple was a connection to Ted. Some had known his family for years, others were touched through school, work, or simply hearing his story and wanting to help. That personal connection ran through the whole night, and it showed in just how hard everyone worked to do Ted proud.
None of it would have come together without Julie and Colin and other Team Ted volunteers , who coached and helped every single couple through their routines and guided them from their very first lesson right through to the final dance. Their patience, time and energy made the whole night possible, and we couldn’t be more grateful!
Over £33,000 and Counting
Between ticket sales, donations on the night and the fundraising pages set up by each couple, Strictly Ted 2025 raised over £33,000 for Team Ted Foundation. That’s a huge contribution towards the grants we provide to children with cancer and their families, helping ease financial pressure and create precious memories together.
A genuine, heartfelt thank you to every couple who danced, everyone who came along, and everyone who donated. None of it happens without you!

It was a brilliant night, and we’ll absolutely be back for Strictly Ted 2026, just a little later in the year when the weather’s a bit kinder to us!
